Greensboro native Eddie Wright has always been an avid sports fan and conscientious observer of world and community events. First established in 2006 under the name Barbershop Talk, Eddie first got his start as co-host of the weekly television show. Barbershop Talk soon moved to the radio airways as a weekly sports talk show on POWER 750 WAUG.

With the introduction of THE SCORE, Eddie brings his unique perspective to the world of political, social, and sporting news.

Eddie is a graduate of North Carolina State University and is a local State Farm agent. He is married to his wife Beth and they have a lovely little girl, Tatum. Rounding out the family is their Miniature Pincher, Mia.
